Trace Any AI Agent with OTel, MLflow, and Unity Catalog
Databricks now lets you send OpenTelemetry traces from any agent anywhere into Unity Catalog for governed, low-cost observability.

Databricks released a capability to ingest OpenTelemetry traces from any agent on any stack into Unity Catalog Delta tables, bringing governance, lower cost, offline analytics, LLM-judge monitoring, and eval into one stack. It matters because agent observability is a growing operational need, but this is a vendor-specific platform feature rather than a broad industry-shaping signal.
