Autonomous construction on Earth and beyond
Monumental Robotics builds autonomous construction machines for solar farms and data centers, aiming for Mars.
“We are building the construction machinery to build a city on Mars, starting with large-scale infrastructure on Earth, like solar farms and data centers.”
Monumental Robotics co-founder James pitched autonomous construction machinery targeting Earth infrastructure like data centers and solar farms, with a long-term vision of building on the Moon and Mars. The company has installed 11,000 solar panels and signed a contract with a top construction firm, but the AI signal is modest and tangential to core AI industry trends.
