AWS is extending its full AI stack—including Trainium chips, GPUs, Bedrock, and SageMaker—into customer on-premise environments via AWS AI Factories, with telco data centers as a primary target. Trainium 3 ultra servers, used internally to train AWS's own frontier models, are now available for customer large-scale training workloads. This signals AWS moving aggressively into hybrid/on-prem AI infrastructure rather than cloud-only deployments.
