At re:Invent, AWS and Amdocs presented a joint solution letting telcos offer AI-as-a-service to enterprise and SMB customers through a marketplace of pre-built agents and GPU/LLM-as-a-service building blocks. AWS highlighted its newly launched AI factories, which extend AWS regions into on-prem telco data centers with Trainium and NVIDIA chips to satisfy sovereign and regulatory requirements. It matters as a channel and infrastructure play for monetizing enterprise AI adoption where data residency and skill gaps block independent adoption.
