LangChain demonstrated a practical agent called Patch that accepts natural language requests via Slack and automatically creates GitHub pull requests, using their Managed Deep Agents platform with GitHub MCP integration and a code sandbox. The demo highlights how MCP tooling is lowering the barrier to building agentic workflows. While compelling as a developer experience showcase, it is a product demo rather than a major industry announcement.
