AWS published a technical blog showing how Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Strands Agents SDK can replace rule-based radiology worklist systems with context-aware AI agents that factor in radiologist specialization, fatigue, and case complexity. Research cited across 62 hospitals found rigid rules cause 17.7-minute delays and $2.1-4.2M in costs per network. Radiology Partners is partnering with AWS to adopt this agentic approach in production, marking a concrete enterprise deployment of multi-agent orchestration in clinical settings.
