Anthropic released Claude Fable 5 (Mythos-class, at least twice the size of Opus 4.8) to general availability, timed with Claude Tokyo. It posted strong gains on the new out-of-distribution FrontierCode Diamond benchmark, jumping from 13.4% to 29.3%, marking a significant frontier-model launch alongside controversial new terms.
