The /wayfinder Skill: Navigating the “Fog of War” of Planning
New /wayfinder skill helps AI agents navigate open-ended projects with unclear end states
“you can't quite decide everything right at the start.”
Matt Pocock, creator of the popular 'AI Skills for Real Engineers' project, released /wayfinder, a Claude Code skill designed to help developers and agents work through projects where requirements aren't fully defined upfront. The skill addresses a practical pain point in agentic workflows: how to schedule and delegate substantial work overnight when the full spec isn't clear from the start. While useful for AI engineering practitioners, this is a community tooling release rather than a major industry signal.
