AWS made Web Search on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore generally available, a fully managed MCP-compatible tool backed by Amazon's own web index spanning tens of billions of documents and refreshed within minutes. It lets AI agents retrieve current information without provisioning third-party search APIs, while keeping query traffic inside AWS. This matters as a major cloud provider productizing agent grounding infrastructure and competing on managed agentic tooling.
