Microsoft Foundry announced three capabilities to close the 'last mile' of enterprise agent adoption: one-click publishing of agents into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams (GA next month), a new category of autonomous 'autopilot agents' (public preview), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication (public preview). It matters because it shifts the focus from building agents to governed, at-scale distribution and a delegation-based interaction model (goal → execution → checkpoints) inside tools employees already use.
